Kitui Governor 2027 Nicholas Muinde Mulila has intensified his grassroots engagements ahead of the 2027 General Election, reaffirming his ambition to become the next Governor of Kitui County.
The corporate leader Mr Mulila on Saturday joined residents of Unyaa in Kitui Central during a thanksgiving ceremony held in honour of KUPPET Secretary Maryanne Kasemba.
Addressing the gathering, Mulila said his political agenda is anchored on development, effective service delivery and empowerment of local communities, as he seeks to convince Kitui residents to support his 2027 gubernatorial bid.
The aspirant also highlighted several development initiatives he says he has supported across the county, citing Kithumuoni Comprehensive School as well as maternity facilities at Kalwilwa and Kauwi among the projects associated with his interventions.
Mulila’s continued presence at community events and grassroots gatherings comes as political activity gathers momentum in Kitui, with several aspirants stepping up campaigns for the governor, parliamentary and other elective positions ahead of the 2027 polls.
The former corporate executive is seeking to build a countywide political network by engaging residents directly while presenting development and community empowerment as key pillars of his anticipated gubernatorial campaign.
