Kitui South MP Dr Racheal Kaki Nyamai joined President William Ruto and other UDA leaders from Kitui County during the launch of the Kwa Vonza–Kanyangi–Kyandula Road and the issuance of title deeds to residents at Kwa Vonza in Kitui Rural Constituency.
The event highlighted the government’s focus on improving road infrastructure and strengthening land ownership rights. The road project is expected to improve connectivity, ease transportation and support the movement of farm produce and other goods, opening up more economic opportunities for local communities.
MP Nyamai commended President Ruto’s administration for accelerating development in Kitui County, saying residents deserved better roads, secure land ownership and equal opportunities. She praised the government’s efforts to address historical marginalisation and ensure that development reaches communities across the country.
Nyamai also welcomed the President’s directive to Lands Principal Secretary Nixon Korir to fast-track the issuance of title deeds to residents of Kitui East. She described the move as a significant step towards securing land rights, strengthening property ownership and enabling residents to unlock the economic value of their land.
The legislator’s remarks came as the President reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to development and service delivery in the region. Nyamai welcomed the Head of State to Kitui, expressing support for the government’s development agenda under the rallying call, “Usawa ni Sawa. Mbele Pamoja!”
