The office of the Ikanga/Kyatune Ward MCA, Hon. Cyrus Musyoka Sonko, in collaboration with the Ward Administrator’s office, officially flagged off the renovation works for the pharmacy and drug store at Ikanga Level 4 Hospital.
The MCA was represented at the event by his Personal Assistant, Senior Kilunda, while Ward Administrator Madam Joycaster Mumina, who is currently on leave, was represented by Kyatune Village Administrator, Mr. Earnest Mukala.
The renovation will include installation of a modern ceiling, painting, fitting of new windows, and extension of the store. Once completed, the project is expected to significantly enhance the security and storage capacity for drugs and medical equipment at the facility.
Also in attendance were Ward Development Committee Chair Mr. Maluki Katwa, Makele/Kiangwa Village Administrator Madam Angela David, Hospital Administrator Madam Stella, and the Sub-County Engineer Mr. Mamburi.
The initiative marks yet another step in improving healthcare infrastructure under the leadership of Hon. Sonko.
