Kitui Central MP aspirant Boniface Mutisya Musambi on Friday hosted an empowerment and public engagement forum at Kavuta Primary School grounds in Kyangwithya West Ward, bringing together residents and local leaders.
The forum provided an opportunity for residents to raise community concerns and discuss development priorities, while Musambi outlined his political vision ahead of the 2027 General Election.
Musambi thanked residents for what he described as their confidence and support, saying he would pursue servant leadership if elected as the next MP for Kitui Central.
The gathering was attended by several leaders, led by Kitui South MP Dr Rachael Nyamai, who chaired the engagement. The forum also focused on grassroots mobilisation and community empowerment.
The engagement came amid broader efforts to expand electricity access in rural communities. REREC says its mandate includes implementing rural electrification projects, including expansion of electricity networks in underserved areas.
