Former Uganda High Commissioner Hon. Ambassador Julius Kiema Kilonzo has been invited to attend the swearing-in and inauguration ceremony of Uganda’s President-elect, General Yoweri Tibuhaburwa Kaguta Museveni.
According to the official invitation card from the Office of the President of the Republic of Uganda, the ceremony will take place on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at the Kololo Ceremonial Grounds in Kampala, Uganda.
The invitation, personally addressed to Ambassador Kiema Kilonzo, highlights the long-standing diplomatic and regional ties between Kenya and Uganda, as well as Kilonzo’s contribution to strengthening bilateral relations during his tenure as Uganda High Commissioner.
The event is expected to attract regional leaders, diplomats, senior government officials and invited guests from across East Africa as Uganda marks another presidential inauguration ceremony.
The invitation card indicates that attendance is strictly by invitation, with each card admitting only one person.
