Residents of Kiusyani are set to benefit from improved healthcare services following the official handover of the rehabilitation works at Yatta Health Centre by Yatta Kwa Vonza MCA Hon. Mark Ndingo. The project aims to enhance the facility’s infrastructure and create a better environment for patients and healthcare workers.
The rehabilitation works will include the construction of an incinerator, renovation of the maternity wing, and roofing works at the health centre. The project is being funded by Safaricom through the MPESA Foundation as part of efforts to support healthcare development in local communities.
Speaking during the site handover, Hon. Mark Ndingo expressed his gratitude to Safaricom and the MPESA Foundation for supporting the project. He noted that the improvements will greatly boost healthcare services at Yatta Health Centre and benefit residents of Kiusyani and surrounding areas. “We appreciate Safaricom for their kind gesture and commitment to supporting our community,” stated the MCA.
