Incoming Kitui Central MP Hon. Christopher Nzilu Nzioka on Saturday morning held a consultative meeting with residents from Tiva, Sokomoko and Kiliku to discuss key development issues affecting the area.
Hon. Nzilu, who currently serves as the MCA for Kyangwithya West and the Deputy Speaker of the Kitui County Assembly, met local residents in a working session aimed at strengthening engagement between leaders and the community.
During the discussions, residents raised several concerns touching on infrastructure development, access to water, youth empowerment and improvement of social services within their villages. The community also highlighted the need for closer collaboration between leaders and citizens to accelerate development.
Hon. Nzilu listened to the residents’ views and assured them that their concerns would be prioritized in ongoing and future development plans. He emphasized the importance of unity and constant dialogue in addressing community challenges.
The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment by the residents to support inclusive development initiatives and maintain open communication with their leaders for the benefit of the wider Kitui Central constituency.
