Yatta Kwa Vonza Member of the County Assembly, Hon. Mark Ndingo, has said it is very difficult to rig elections for Members of County Assembly, citing strong voter vigilance at the ward level.
Speaking during a talk show on Kwitu FM, MCA Ndingo noted that MCA elections are closely monitored by residents, making manipulation nearly impossible. He added that the ward continues to experience steady development courtesy of the leadership of Kitui Governor Dr. Julius Malombe.
Hon. Ndingo further revealed that his ward has agreed to halt sand harvesting, saying the County Government of Kitui has already put in place laws to regulate sand harvesting in order to protect the environment and local livelihoods.
