Water works for the pipeline extension at Nthongoni Borehole are progressing well, with the construction of the water tank nearing completion, Yatta Kwa Vonza Member of County Assembly (MCA) Hon. Mark Ndingo has said.
Speaking during an inspection visit, Hon. Ndingo expressed satisfaction with the pace and quality of work, noting that the project will significantly improve access to clean and reliable water for residents of Nthongoni and neighboring areas. He said the pipeline extension is a key intervention aimed at reducing water shortages and easing the burden on households.
The MCA reiterated his commitment to prioritizing water projects across the ward, adding that the county government, in collaboration with ward leadership, is focused on delivering practical solutions that improve livelihoods.
Residents have welcomed the progress, expressing optimism that once completed, the project will enhance sanitation, support small-scale farming, and boost overall community well-being
