Kitui Central Member of Parliament, Dr. Makali Mulu, was met with a heroic welcome during the colorful thanksgiving ceremony and midterm scorecard review for Yatta Kwa Vonza MCA, Hon. Mark Kitute Nding’o, held at his Mamole home.
The event, attended by hundreds of residents and key political figures, marked a significant milestone in Hon. Nding’o’s leadership journey, with the official launch of the Mark Kitute Nding’o Foundation—a bold initiative focused on community empowerment and sustainable development across the ward.
Dr. Mulu, a seasoned lawmaker and vocal figure in Kitui politics, was cheered on by the crowd, with many viewing his presence as a potential signal of future political alignments ahead of the 2027 elections.
In his address, Governor H.E. Dr. Julius Makau Malombe lauded Hon. Nding’o for his outstanding service delivery and urged leaders to focus on development over early campaign politics. Nominated Senator Hon. Beth Syengo, several Kitui County MCAs, clergy, and community leaders also graced the occasion.
