Kitui South Member of Parliament, Hon. Dr. Racheal Kaki Nyamai, has today launched an additional Ksh 424,000 in Presidential Bursary Funds to support 45 more needy students from the constituency.
This follows an earlier disbursement on March 1st, 2025, where Dr. Nyamai flagged off bursary allocations totaling Ksh 689,655 that benefited at least 80 students.
Addressing parents and beneficiaries at the NG-CDF offices, Dr. Nyamai reiterated her firm commitment to ensuring that no child is left behind due to lack of school fees.
“Our children must remain in class—not out herding goats or worrying about fees,” she told the gathering, emphasizing the importance of education as a key pillar of development.
She noted that the bursary top-up reflects President William Ruto’s broader vision of inclusive education, adding that Kitui South continues to benefit immensely from national bursary programs.
Dr. Nyamai assured parents that her leadership will continue to champion access to education, especially for bright and underprivileged learners, so they can realize their full potential.
“My pledge remains that Kitui South’s brightest sons and daughters will achieve their dreams,” she affirmed.
