East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) MP and Mombasa businessman Suleiman Shahbal has lauded Kitui Governor Dr. Julius Malombe for his exemplary leadership, urging residents to count themselves fortunate to have him at the helm.
Speaking during a funeral service in Chuluni, Shahbal described Governor Malombe as a hardworking and principled leader who is dedicated to the welfare of his people. He commended the Governor’s integrity and commitment to service delivery, noting that his administration is making significant strides in transforming the county.
Shahbal’s sentiments were echoed by former Chief Justice Willy Mutunga and former Law Society of Kenya (LSK) chairman Eric Mutua. The two leaders highlighted the impact of Malombe’s leadership, citing major development projects being implemented across the county, from urban centers to rural villages.
They praised the Governor’s inclusive approach to governance, emphasizing that his leadership is benefiting all residents without discrimination.
Governor Malombe, who was re-elected in 2022, has been widely recognized for spearheading infrastructural development, improving healthcare services, and enhancing economic opportunities for Kitui residents.
