Hon. Charles Nguna has sent shockwaves through Mwingi West with a relentless wave of development projects, leaving his critics stunned, disarmed, and politically zombified.

In less than 12 months, the MP has executed transformative projects worth billions, without factoring in CDF or KeRRA interventions—cementing his reputation as a doer rather than a talker.

Among the major undertakings:

Kakongo Market – Ksh. 57 million; near completion.

Thitani Technical Training Institute (TTI) – Ongoing at Ksh. 62 million.

Mumbuni ACC Offices – Ksh. 30 million; nearing completion.

Kwa Siku–Migwani–Mbondoni Road – A Ksh. 3.2 billion infrastructure project with contractors now on site.

Migwani ESP Market – Ksh. 300 million; land acquisition in progress.

Nzatani University Hostels – Ksh. 100 million; tendering ongoing.

Kiio Sports Academy – Ksh. 68 million; procurement already finalized.

Locals have praised the MP for walking the talk, noting that Mwingi West has turned into a development hub under his leadership.

“We are not blind. We can see the roads, the institutions, and the infrastructure sprouting. 2027 is about performance, not empty noise,” said a resident of Thitani.

Analysts say Hon. Nguna’s rapid development rollout has neutralized political opposition, with rivals left struggling to catch up or find faults.

With the momentum clearly on his side, political pundits are now calling Mwingi West “Nguna territory,” predicting a landslide if elections were held today.

As the countdown to 2027 continues, the message is clear: development is the new campaign language—and Nguna speaks it fluently.
