The Principal Secretary for Livestock Development, Hon. Jonathan Mueke, has been reaffirmed as President William Ruto’s official point man in Kitui County.
Amidst claims and counterclaims on who speaks for the President in the region, leaders and government insiders have made it clear that Mueke is the Head of State’s trusted representative in Kitui. They further urged all leaders to align themselves with him for effective communication and coordination of government programs.
“For the avoidance of doubt, it is Jonathan Mueke who serves as the President’s point man in Kitui. Any other propaganda should be ignored,” a source close to the government emphasized.
Mueke, who has been instrumental in driving livestock development projects, is expected to play a central role in rallying support for the Kenya Kwanza administration and ensuring the smooth rollout of national government initiatives in Kitui.
