PS Jonathan Mueke Attends Monthly PS Meeting, Reaffirms Livestock Department’s Commitment to BETA Agenda

The Principal Secretary for Livestock Development, Hon. Jonathan Mueke, joined fellow Principal Secretaries at the monthly PS meeting held at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC). The session was convened by the Head of Public Service, Felix Koskei.The meeting focused on enhancing coordination, precision, and urgency in implementing the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA), a key pillar of the Kenya Kwanza administration.Speaking after the meeting, PS Mueke reaffirmed the State Department for Livestock’s commitment to the BETA agenda through inclusive and impactful programs that empower MSMEs, promote youth and women participation, enforce policy compliance, and boost both food and economic security across the country.“We are aligning our efforts to ensure that the livestock sector not only contributes to national growth but also improves livelihoods in all corners of the country,” he said.
