Deputy President Kithure Kindiki today met MCAs from the Ukambani region in a consultative meeting aimed at strengthening devolution and county governance.
The DP called for the fast-tracking of key legislations that will empower County Assemblies, enhance their autonomy, and improve the welfare and working conditions of MCAs across the country.
Also in attendance were Machakos County Assembly Speaker Hon. Anne Kiusya and Kitui Speaker Hon. Kevin Kinengo, among other leaders from across the Ukambani region.
