Kwa vonza Area Member of the County Assembly (MCA) Hon. Mark Ndingo on Monday led residents of Yatta Kwa Vonza Ward in celebrating the official handover of a newly completed Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) classroom at Ngulilu Primary School in Makusya village.
The event was marked by joy and appreciation from the community, who welcomed the development as a major boost to early learning in the area. Speaking during the handover, Hon. Ndingo thanked the County Government of Kitui, under the leadership of Governor Dr. Julius Malombe, for funding the project.
“This classroom is a great investment in our children’s future. As your MCA, I will continue to work closely with the county government to ensure more such developments reach our people,” said Hon. Ndingo.
He emphasized the importance of a strong foundation in education and assured residents of his continued commitment to uplifting the education sector and other key areas of development in the ward.
Residents and school stakeholders commended the project, noting it will provide a safer and more comfortable learning environment for ECDE learners. They also applauded MCA Ndingo for his active role in advocating for development projects in the ward.
The completion of the ECDE classroom is part of broader efforts by the county government to improve learning infrastructure and promote access to quality education across Kitui County.
