On Monday, May 20, 2025 – afternoon, Hon. Vincent Musyoka (Kawaya) paid a courtesy call to the private office of Mwingi West MP Hon. Charles Nguna. During the meeting, Hon. Kawaya delivered a special invitation to Hon. Nguna for a high-level development tour scheduled for tomorrow at State House.
The engagement between the two leaders focused on key development projects aimed at transforming infrastructure and service delivery in Mwingi West. Among the top priorities discussed were:
- Kindaruma–Kiomo–Migwani Water Project – A crucial initiative to boost water access across the region.
- Completion of Kwasiku–Migwani–Mbondoni Road – A critical road network, whose inspection was recently conducted by Hon. Nguna alongside engineers.
- Rehabilitation of Earth Dams – Including the Manguva Dam, to enhance water harvesting and storage.
- Electricity Connectivity Projects – Slated for implementation in this financial year, targeting underserved areas in Mwingi West.
The upcoming State House tour is expected to pave the way for accelerated implementation and funding of these transformative projects. Hon. Nguna expressed optimism that the meeting will yield concrete commitments to uplift the lives of his constituents
